Quran Recitation

This course is designed to teach students the basics of Quranic Arabic pronunciation and Tajweed using the Noorani Qaida.The Noorani Qaida is one of the most fundamental and widely used tools for learning Quranic Arabic and Tajweed.It is ideal for absolute beginners who have no prior knowledge of Arabic or Quran recitation. The course focuses on mastering the Arabic alphabet, recognizing vowel signs (Harakat), and applying basic Tajweed rules.

Course Objectives:

Learn the correct pronunciation of Arabic letters (Makharij).
Understand and recognize Harakat (Fatha, Kasra, Damma), Tanween, and Sukoon.
Master the rules of Noon Sakinah, Meem Sakinah, and Qalqalah.
Develop the ability to read simple words and sentences from the Quran.

Structure of Course

Learning the Arabic alphabet (28 letters).
Correct pronunciation of each letter (Makharij Al-Huroof).
Different forms of letters (beginning, middle, and end).
Practice reading letters with Harakat.
Understanding Sukoon (ْ) and its effect on letters.
Practice reading letters with Sukoon.
Alif Madd (ا), Yaa Madd (ي), Waw Madd (و).
Practice reading letters with Madd.
Qalqalah (echoing sound) rules. Practice joining letters to form words.
Regular revision of all lessons.
Reading simple Quranic words and sentences.
